Zoho Corporation, a leading global technology company, sees strong growth potential for SaaS solutions in Malaysia’s evolving business landscape. This year, Zoho is building stronger connections with the local market by leveraging AI to deliver greater value to Malaysia businesses.
Malaysia’s SaaS market was valued at approximately USD 1.01
billion in 2024 and is projected to reach around USD 2.36 billion by 2030,
reflecting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 18.48% from 2025 to 2030.
This growth is fuelled by rapid digital transformation across industries,
government initiatives such as MyDIGITAL promoting cloud adoption, and a strong
SME sector leveraging SaaS for cost-effective, scalable solutions. Demand is
also rising in high-growth sectors including Fintech, e-commerce, healthcare,
education, logistics, and manufacturing. In parallel, Malaysian businesses are
increasingly adopting AI, automation, cybersecurity, and compliance-focused
SaaS solutions, these trends align with national efforts to accelerate digital
economy development.
Building on this momentum, in March 2025, Zoho introduced the Zoho for Startups initiative in Malaysia through a strategic partnership with Cradle Fund’s Single Window Platform, MYStartup. Launched during the MYStartup NXT micro-conference in Cyberjaya and witnessed by YB Tuan Chang Lih Kang, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), the program offers eligible startups access to Zoho’s suite of business software, wallet credits, and training resources. Through MYStartup, which qualifies and evaluates startups within its ecosystem, the initiative aims to empower Malaysia’s early-stage companies with cost-effective, scalable tools to accelerate their growth and strengthen the country’s innovation ecosystem.
Zoho Leverages AI to Deliver Greater Value to Malaysia Businesses,
Introduces Zia LLM
Zoho is seeing strong momentum in Malaysia, with annual revenue growth
surpassing 22% as more businesses adopt its platform of enterprise-grade
solutions to power digital transformation. At its flagship Malaysia user conference,
Zoholics, this August, Zoho introduced Zia LLM, its proprietary large language
model, previewed the upcoming integration of Zia Hubs, and showcased the
enhanced CRM for Everyone platform with advanced Zia AI capabilities. Together,
these solutions are designed to help businesses in Malaysia harness AI for
greater productivity, contextual decision-making, and seamless
cross-departmental collaboration.
Commenting on the conference, Gibu Mathew, VP and GM, Zoho APAC, said: “We’re proud to continue our commitment in Malaysia to empower businesses of all sizes through accessible, integrated, and AI-driven software, this year’s user conference in Malaysia is a testament to that. We understand the immense potential of AI especially when integrated into a fully owned business ecosystem like ours and are excited to bring more features that allow SMEs to harness this."
Zia LLM, Built from the Ground Up and Optimized for Business
Zoho has launched its own large language model, Zia LLM, built
completely in-house by leveraging NVIDIA's AI accelerated computing platform. Trained with Zoho product use cases in mind—ranging from structured
data extraction, summarization, RAG, and code generation—Zia LLM is comprised
of three models with 1.3 billion, 2.6 billion and 7 billion parameters, each
separately trained and optimized for contextual applicability that benchmark
competitively against comparable open source models in the market. The three
models allow Zoho to optimize the right model for the right user context
always, striking the proper balance between power and resource management. This
focus on right-sizing the model is an ongoing development strategy for Zoho.
While Zoho supports many LLM integrations for users,
including ChatGPT, Llama, and DeepSeek, Zia LLM continues Zoho's commitment to
data privacy by allowing customers to keep their data on Zoho servers,
leveraging the latest AI capabilities without sending their data to AI cloud
providers.
Zia Hubs: AI for Enterprise Data, Engineered for Privacy and
Security
Zia Hubs, a solution within Zoho WorkDrive, an online file management and collaboration tool for teams, exposes
new forms of unstructured business data to the company's broad portfolio of
applications and AI services. This allows organizations to present any type of
business content to Zoho's powerful capabilities and services, including
agentic AI, comprehensive analysis, and accurate, unified search, regardless of
file format or structure.
Designed with a high level of user control over content accessibility,
Zia Hubs enables users to organize project or task-specific content into
dedicated hubs within WorkDrive. This includes a wide range of content formats

CRM for Everyone
CRM
for Everyone - a platform built for every
function in the organization, just got better with deeper AI and work
orchestration capabilities, all powered by Zia, Zoho's in-house AI engine.
The integration unlocks a host of new capabilities, including:
● Report Creation with Ask Zia: Agentic capability wherein a user issues a prompt to create a report,
which Zia builds on the user's behalf with real time build visualization.
● Custom Module Creation: A no-code experience to customize the CRM implementation, such as
creating modules, modifying field types, and customizing permission
configurations.
●
Workflow Creation with Ask
Zia: Utilize plain text prompts to easily
create custom workflows.
●
Image to Canvas: Allows users to bring an image to life by adding a visual design layer
to the CRM.
Beyond this, CRM for Everyone also sees further enhancements through the
addition of Connected Records, which automatically links work across team
modules to ensure the smooth flow of context through the customer journey. Also
introduced is Connected Workflows, an orchestration engine and builder that
automatically coordinates work across the many teams involved in delivering the
customer experience.
Elaborating on the announcements, Gibu added, “CRM is no longer just a
sales solution; it’s the central nervous system of modern business. With AI and
automation built-in, it can empower every department, from marketing to HR to
customer support, to work smarter, faster, and more
collaboratively. Meanwhile, Zia Hubs represents our long-term AI strategy,
laying the groundwork for a future where intelligent agents can act
contextually on content across the company's entire product suite.”
Zia LLM will be deployed across Zoho's data centers in the US, India,
and Europe. The model is currently testing for internal use cases across Zoho's
broad app portfolio, and will be available for customer use in coming months. Zia Hubs is scheduled to be released later this quarter while CRM for Everyone is now available in Malaysia.
