Roborock Kicks Off Grand Launch in Malaysia with Its New S8 Product Series

Roborock, creator of ultra-intelligent home robotics engineered to simplify life, today launches the Roborock S8 Series in Malaysia. The company leveraged the occasion of the upcoming Raya festivity to launch its new product line which the brand believes will further up its game in the market.

“When Roborock first launched in Malaysia in 2019, our goal was to provide a convenient solution for those who spend a lot of time at home and need a product that helps them free up their hands and reduce the amount of cleaning they have to do,” said Mr. Elvis Wang, Overseas Sales Director of Roborock.

“We expect the industry to continue to flourish in the coming years, driven by increasing urbanization, rising disposable incomes, and the growing trend toward smart homes. As a brand that offers affordable luxury vacuum cleaner products, we will continue to consider our price points, promote consumer awareness, and provide customer service that is more than satisfactory. With the introduction of the S8 series, which is another truly revolutionary product from Roborock, it will undoubtedly offer even more functionality and capabilities. I have no qualms that we can offer a product that can compete with other international brands,” added Mr. Elvis Wang.

Having been in Malaysia for almost five years, Roborock has become a leading name in the realm of AI-powered robot vacuum cleaners. Its excellent functionality and performance have made it one of the top-selling products in the Malaysian market.

"We are confident about our market growth in Malaysia because we know the demand for our products. We are grateful to our partners Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok as they are key ecommerce platforms that have enabled us to grow our sales exponentially. This year, we plan to open our own retail store to provide customers with a more complete shopping experience. We look forward to expanding our key business strategies to tap into the Malaysian market," said Ms. Joan Hu, Asia-Pacific Director of Roborock.

Roborock has made a name for itself as an innovative robot vacuum cleaner that is highly praised by its consumers globally. An important point that makes the brand competitive and stand out in the market is that they are supported by strong research and development team, in which they invest a lot, and which consists of skilled engineers, scientists, manufacturing experts, and designers.

The 2021 product launch, held online via a live show, featured national athletes Datuk Wira Lee Chong Wei and Tan Boon Heong as special guests. This time, Roborock engaged Malaysian celebrity Daphne Iking, who shared her experience with the product as someone who has a busy family who wants to make cleaning easier, and who runs a household with children who wants her home clean after being away at work.

"Roborock's advanced cleaning technology ensures that every corner of your home is thoroughly cleaned, leaving you with a fresh and healthy living space. This is especially important during festive seasons like Hari Raya when families come together to celebrate. With Roborock, Malaysian families will have to spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying the holidays with family. Thanks to its efficiency and effectiveness, Roborock gives families more time together," said Mr. Henry Zhu, Overseas GTM Director of Roborock

Over the years, Roborock has introduced the Roborock S5, Roborock S6, and Roborock S7 to the Malaysian market. This year, the brand is set to raise the bar with the Roborock S8 series, which boasts enhanced suction power and dual roller brushes.

The series is available in three models, namely the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the Roborock S8+, and the Roborock S8. The top-of-the-line model, S8 Pro Ultra features the new RockDock Ultra system, which provides automatic mop cleaning, dust emptying and refilling, and selfcleaning. Warm air drying also prevents mould and odours on the mop pad and dock.

The VibraRise 2.0 Mopping System on the S8 Pro Ultra and S8+ vibrates 3,000 times per minute to remove stains from floors. The S8 Pro Ultra also offers two vibration modes for the best possible cleaning.

All new models also feature a new system with two rubber roller brushes, while previous Roborock models had only a single brush. The new dual system is also able to improve dirt pickup while more effectively tackling matted hair. This is good news for anyone who has pets that shed around the house. When the S8 Pro Ultra is in mopping mode and the robot vacuum returns to the docking station, the dual brush system automatically raises 6 mm to prevent cross-contamination.

All three models in the Roborock S8 series enhance suction power to 6,000Pa, resulting in superior cleaning performance. These high-quality offerings from Roborock are a great way to keep your home clean.

The Roborock S8 series will be available at AiHome stores in IOI City Mall, One Utama, Mid Valley Megamall, Setapak Central Mall, Sunway Velocity, and iGadgets Pavilion Bukit Jalil, as well as on Shopee and Lazada starting March 2023. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is priced at RM5,599, Roborock S8+ is priced at RM3,999 and Roborock S8 is priced at RM2,699.

REVAMPED SURIA KLCC SIGNATURES FOOD COURT FULLY REOPENS WITH ATTRACTIVE PROMOTIONS

When is a food court more than just a mere food court? The answer: When it is designed and constructed according to the best practices that ensures hygiene and unbeatable customer experience, but also incorporate the new norms brought about by Covid-19. This is the philosophy of Suria KLCC’s Signatures Food Court, which is completely new, enlarged, and made safer, all at the same time.  The “original” food court dates to 1998, when the mall opened its doors for business. The last major renovation was in 2005 with extra seating added in 2015 bringing the capacity to 1200. The latest redevelopment, which incorporates the space formerly occupied by Parkson, the total number of seats were increased to over 1,500 but still leaves customers with more elbow room as it considers the need for adequate physical distancing.  More space for distancing is just part of the picture, as the overall dining experience has been upped several notches. For example, from 22 food court outlets and 4 kiosks,
