As we slowly adjust to the
new normal, Pizza Hut draws inspiration from Malaysia’s rich culture and love
for everything fusion in their lives, ranging from cuisine to language and way
of living. This is especially accurate when it comes to food, as Malaysia
celebrates their riveting ethnic diversity by mixing and merging various
cultural influences to create new Malaysian fusion food that is uniquely
delicious.
The one of a kind
Malaysian’s ‘campur’ culture has inspired the creation of Nasi Lemak Pizza and
the campaign tagline of “Rasa Campur, Lagi Bes Bersama” as a special homage to
our rich and unified cultural diversity.
“We Malaysians are better
when we ‘campur’ things together and Nasi Lemak Pizza is the example of how we
‘campur’ things in our lives, mixing everything together and merging in unity,
just like our Nasi Lemak Pizza; a harmonious combination of Pizza and Nasi
Lemak,” said Emily Chong, Chief Marketing Officer of Pizza Hut Malaysia.
To kick off the campaign,
Pizza Hut paid tribute to its fellow competitors whom have embraced the
Malaysians ‘campur’ culture in their special and exciting ways; for
example; McD with their “Nasi Lemak
Burger”, Marrybrown with its “Nasi Lemak Ice Cream”, and many more. The
campaign will run until 31 August, in lieu with Merdeka Day, in celebration of
our beautiful fusion culture that has enriched our unique and diverse nation.
