KFC goes nostalgic this Ramadhan with KFC Nasi Kari Atuk, a mouth-watering new menu that evokes the feeling of familiarity with its classic local taste. Inspired by the familiar in Malaysia, including KFC’s very own Colonel Sanders, or as Malaysians fondly refer to as ‘Atuk’; this dish was created to satisfy your cravings during the holy month.
Kari Atuk is a rich and savoury curry made from a blend of traditional curry spices and coconut milk, mixed with potato chunks for added flavour and texture. True to Malaysians taste preference, this meal is also served with spicy Sambal Atuk concocted from a special anchovy-chili paste that pairs well with the curry.
Pour the Kari Atuk over KFC’s signature Colonel Rice and the Finger Lickin’ Good Original Recipe or Hot & Spicy Chicken for a wholesome pick-me-up meal during buka puasa that will surely offer satisfaction after long hours of fasting. Don’t forget to glaze the Sambal Atuk over for that extra kick of spiciness.
“Malaysians will be experiencing a new and different way of observing Ramadhan this year. We hope that the familiar taste of Nasi Kari Atuk will bring some joy and comfort, as you buka puasa. For greater ease and convenience, order online for Delivery or Self-Collect where you can select date and time; and pre-order in advance for buka puasa,” said Angelina Villanueva, Chief Marketing Officer of KFC Malaysia.
To complete your dining experience, KFC Nasi Kari Atuk is served in a special packaging that mimics banana leaves which are available in 2-pc or 3-pc combo, and a box meal. The price starts from RM16.30, available for self-collect, take-away, drive-thru, and delivery starting from 30th April 2020 while stocks last. Choose KFC ‘contactless delivery’ to get orders sent straight to your homes, or ‘contactless selfcollect’ for your take away orders, for an extra safe contact-free service.
In anticipation of the busy Ramadhan period, KFC encourages you to take advantage of their pre-order option available for all online and KFC Malaysia App orders. During the Movement Control Order period, the last order is at 7 pm and timings may vary depending on respective state regulations. To avoid disappointment, customers are advised to check KFC operational hours online. Just log-on to www.kfc.com.my, download the KFC Malaysia App, or order via Foodpanda.
