Klook announces the launch of Klook Travel Fest, a one-of-akind experiential travel fair, bringing together and celebrating travel, fun and the local community under one roof. The festival will also showcase the best in arts, entertainment, music and cultural experiences from around the world. Held on the 28 and 29 September at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) from 10am to 10pm, Klook Travel Fest will be the first event in Malaysia to exclusively target the growing segment of Free and Independent travellers (FITs).

Visitors to the Klook Travel Fest will enjoy an exciting line-up of programs and activities designed to fuel their wanderlust. They can expect games, freebies, cultural performances, sharing sessions, instaworthy interactive experiences as well as unbeatable travel deals and exclusive discounts over two funfilled days. Klook travel experts stationed at “Ask Klook” booths will also be on-site to assist visitors with itinerary planning.

Topping the exciting line-up is a series of travel talks and workshops featuring influencers, celebrities and travel experts from all walks of life including singer-songwriter and YouTuber, Jenn Chia who will be serenading audience with her signature tunes. Actress and TV host, Sazzy Falak and Daphne Iking, who are also globetrotting mothers will be sharing tips on travelling with children. Journalist and awardwinning travel blogger Mei Mei Chu will be busting myths on solo travelling, while beauty travel content creator Chanwon will be sharing about travelling in Japan and many more. 

Visitors can also expect to be entertained by immersive historical-themed theatre show by Encore Melaka, Japanese Taiko drum performance by Wadaiko Syo, and K-Pop dance moves by Kueendom & Kingsman dance cover groups. 

Supporting the inaugural Klook Travel Fest are partners and brands including Uniqlo, who will be making sure that you travel with style and comfort, Malaysia Airlines for visitors to book flights on-site, well-loved theme parks such as Hong Kong Disneyland, Ocean Park Hong Kong, Sunway Lagoon, Universal Studios Japan amongst others. HSBC cardholders will also enjoy special privileges and additional discounts.There will also be a kids corner decked out by Kidzania to ensure that the little ones are occupied with fun and educational activities.

Sushi-making with World Sushi Cup Champions by Norwegian Seafood Council

World Sushi Cup champions Sky Tai and Leon Yap led media participants in a hands-on sushi-making class organised by the Norwegian Seafood Council at KDU University recently.
