Y.A.M. TENGKU DATIN PADUKA SETIA ZATASHAH EMBRACES 10,000 DAYS OF PUBLIC MEDICAL SAFEGUARDING BY MALAYSIA’S LARGEST PHARMACEUTICAL RETAIL-CHAIN – CARING PHARMACY

Caring Pharmacy celebrated its 10,000-day anniversary by giving away 10,000 Boxes (or 500,000 pieces) of NEUTROVIS Premium Medical Face Mask to 10 organizations in the presence of Y.A.M. Tengku Datin Paduka Setia Zatashah, daughter of the Sultan of Selangor - Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, accompanied by the Asst. Commr. (CD) Abdul Wahab Bin Hj. Rahim, Director of Disaster Management and Operation Division, Malaysia Civil Defense Force (APM) of the Prime Minister’s Office. Also present in this auspicious occasion were VIP representatives of Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC), Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (Tourism Malaysia), Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA), ASEAN Retail-Chain & Franchise Federation (ARFF) and Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn Bhd.

The 10,000 days signifies the 27 years that Caring Pharmacy has been established since September 1994, where it started off as a humble pharmacy located in Taman Muda, Cheras, founded by five pharmacist course-mates, to provide quality and affordable healthcare solutions to the rakyat. After a 27-year run, Caring Pharmacy has managed to expand to 158 outlets nationwide, establishing their presence in all major shopping malls. It doesn’t stop there; in this time, they have also bloomed through loyalty programs, launched their very own Caring mobile application, grew its acquisition of Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy to 36 stores, and tapped on the international markets within Southeast Asia.

As the country slowly recovers from the damages caused by the pandemic and natural disasters, homegrown brands - Caring Pharmacy and NEUTROVIS collaborate with 10 organizations to safeguard those who might not be privileged enough to own proper medical-grade face masks. These masks will be utilized by the officers and volunteers in their daily operations, and will also be distributed to the underprivileged, primarily the flood victims that have suffered immensely these past two months. In doing so, they hope to give everyone an equal fighting chance against COVID-19 and remind them to celebrate Chinese New Year responsibly, when reuniting with family and friends.

As the festive season of Chinese New Year approaches, popular local celebrities - Nadia Brian and Tong Bing Yu, participated in the celebration to use their influence to create greater awareness on the importance of wearing effective, medical-grade face masks to combat COVID-19, and remind the nation to keep their loved ones safe by always complying with the SOPs, as they welcome the year of the tiger. During the event, Nadia Brian and Tong Bing Yu were seen distributing NEUTROVIS Premium Medical Masks to the public at the main entrance of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
