KL-based, Leigh Howard, Victoria’s Deputy Commissioner to South East Asia says, “As more Malaysians switch to online shopping for buying premium items, we are pleased that they will now have access to high-quality products from Victorian exporters.”

While most Malaysians may be familiar with its capital Melbourne, there are plenty of great brands that come from all over the popular state of Victoria, home to the Great Ocean Road. The brands available for purchase online are probiotic and prebiotic dairy nutrition Mo Milk, Sukin well-known for its natural skincare range, sensitive skin experts QV, famous Australian Goat soaps, Milk Lab’s dairy and non-dairy products, Swisse supplements, Bubs babycare, Red Tractor superfoods, Ausbarrel Sticky Balsamic vinegar and ViPlus nutritional milk products.

“Immediate access to premium vitamins and supplements to support overall health and immunity has never been more important.m We now have the opportunity to offer the best of Swisse Vitamins to our friends in Malaysia and as part of this initiative, we hope they will enjoy a little piece of Aussie life during these trying times. We see this project as a start for more businesses in both countries to leverage the opportunities and benefits of e-Commerce” says Nick Mann, Managing Director, Swisse Wellness ANZ.

Prior to this, Australian products in Malaysia were primarily available at a limited number of selected retail outlets located in key cities. With the launch of the official brand stores online, Malaysians nationwide can gain access to these products and enjoy Aussie goodness anytime they desire, in the comfort of their homes.

Hans Peter Ressel, CEO and Co-Founder of Momentum Commerce says, “The launch of the official brand e-stores has been made possible by the e-Commerce Accelerator programme developed in collaboration with our Australian partners. Our team designed a local end-to-end solution to support and simplify the entire e-Commerce process from store management to branding, marketing, customer service, logistics and fulfilment. Managing the entire value-chain locally has enabled Victorian products to reach customers in a timely manner, increasing the convenience and accessibility of Aussie products locally. Customers no longer have to wait for orders to be shipped from warehouses in Victoria, Australia.”

The launch of the official e-Commerce stores guarantees the sale of authentic branded products while enabling shoppers to engage directly with the brand owners to assist with making their purchase decisions. The availability of after-sales customer service allows consumers to raise and resolve any issues with the brand owners, ensuring increased customer satisfaction throughout the shopping journey.

The Victorian brands are now available on both Lazada and Shopee. The mega campaigns will be from 25 July to 8th August 2021 on Lazada and 13 August 2021 on Shopee with discounts of up to 30%, vouchers and freebies up for grabs on both marketplaces.

The answer: When it is designed and constructed according to the best practices that ensures hygiene and unbeatable customer experience, but also incorporate the new norms brought about by Covid-19. This is the philosophy of Suria KLCC’s Signatures Food Court, which is completely new, enlarged, and made safer, all at the same time.  The “original” food court dates to 1998, when the mall opened its doors for business. The last major renovation was in 2005 with extra seating added in 2015 bringing the capacity to 1200. The latest redevelopment, which incorporates the space formerly occupied by Parkson, the total number of seats were increased to over 1,500 but still leaves customers with more elbow room as it considers the need for adequate physical distancing.  More space for distancing is just part of the picture, as the overall dining experience has been upped several notches.
