THE GUARDIAN AWARDS 2021 IS BACK!

Guardian Malaysia enjoys a hard earned reputation as the trusted leading pharmacy, health and beauty retail destination in Malaysia for providing its customers with the best health and beauty products in the industry. Guardian is also known as a trusted expert in community health through the hard work of its large team of professional pharmacists.

This enviable reputation that Guardian has earned is due to its commitment in putting the customer first, always!

Anna Ng, Brand Marketing Director, SEA, Guardian Health And Beauty said:

“At Guardian, the customer is at the heart of everything that we do.  We listen to their needs and are mindful of delivering a healthy kind of beauty that is also affordable for them.  We provide our customers with daily essential health and beauty products that provide uncompromising quality and value.

“We also feel that our customers knows best and are the experts when it comes to finding out which brands work for them.  Hence, our purpose in holding the Guardian Awards 2021 – The Best in Health & Beauty this year.

“This very popular annual brand appreciation contest is really to give our customers a voice in selecting the BEST Health and Beauty brands that we have available at all Guardian stores from their perspective.

“I’m confident that the Guardian Awards 2021 – The Best in Health and Beauty will remain  the most prestigious and definitive award in the market today taking into consideration the depth and breadth of the products, brands and categories involved. It provides an independent and unbiased snapshot of brands that have reached and impacted our customers the most.  The brands will also gain an important deeper understanding of the customers’ brand preferences.”

The contest will see more than 107 brands taking part with over 410 products vying for 75 awards in SIX main award categories, namely; Best Newcomer, Most Voted Influencers Choice’, Cosmetics, Skin Care, Personal Care and Health Care.”

The Best Newcomer category showcases new and trend setting brands that have just been introduced to Guardian.

For the Most Voted Influencers Choice category, Guardian invited seven well-known Malaysian influencers, who match the real-life profile of a cross-section of Guardian customers, to vote for their choice of the best health and beauty brands in their category of interest.

For instance, we had popular actor and singer Izzue Islam look at products in the Male Health Care category, while radio announcer and host, Joe Chang selected his favourite products from the Male Personal Care category.

For Female Personal Care category products, we had Lifestyle and Beauty YouTubers Bella Khan and Coco select their favourites.  For the Female Skincare category, we had Anna Khayalan, a popular digital content producer and for the Female Make-up category, we had professional make-up artist Nurul Hazirah select her favourites.  Finally, for the Female Health Care category, we had beauty queen, content creator and mother of one, Elecher Lee to decide on her best female health care products.

Guardian customers can check out their favourite influencer’s product review videos posted online at http://awards.guardian.com.my.

Entry to this contest is FREE, no purchase is required and is open to everyone aged 18 and above.  Winners will be selected based on the entry which most closely resembles the overall Guardian Awards 2021 – The Best in Health & Beauty winners list.

Voting is open from now until 27 July 2021, with all voting conducted online. All customers  need to do is to register at http://awards.guardian.com.my via their social media platform or register manually and start voting. There is also no limit to the number of entries they can submit.

All customers who vote  stand a chance to win one of 63 prizes worth a total of RM50,000 including a Grand Prize of a VESPA PRIMAVERA S150.

“In line with the rise in online purchases due to the MCO restrictions, we believe more customers will vote in this year’s edition of the Award. It will be interesting to see which brands have made the most impact during the pandemic environment.

“The Guardian Awards 2021 – The Best in Health & Beauty is a truly unique customer voting platform that is even more relevant today as Guardian is driven to connect, engage strongly with and understand our customers’ lifestyle needs, preferences and behaviour that are constantly changing and evolving especially in this time of Covid-19.

REVAMPED SURIA KLCC SIGNATURES FOOD COURT FULLY REOPENS WITH ATTRACTIVE PROMOTIONS

When is a food court more than just a mere food court? The answer: When it is designed and constructed according to the best practices that ensures hygiene and unbeatable customer experience, but also incorporate the new norms brought about by Covid-19. This is the philosophy of Suria KLCC’s Signatures Food Court, which is completely new, enlarged, and made safer, all at the same time.  The “original” food court dates to 1998, when the mall opened its doors for business. The last major renovation was in 2005 with extra seating added in 2015 bringing the capacity to 1200. The latest redevelopment, which incorporates the space formerly occupied by Parkson, the total number of seats were increased to over 1,500 but still leaves customers with more elbow room as it considers the need for adequate physical distancing.  More space for distancing is just part of the picture, as the overall dining experience has been upped several notches.
