PUSAT PAKAIAN HARI-HARI SDN BHD CONTINUES ITS SPONSORSHIP FOR NCBL FOR THE 4TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Pusat Pakaian Hari-Hari Sdn Bhd once again and for the 4th consecutive become the Title Sponsor for National Community Basketball League (NCBL). NCBL will be in its 16th season and expected to start on January 9th, 2021. The Venue for the event is UCSI University, SJK(c) Kwong Hon and MABA Stadium. 

This meaningful sponsorship signing agreement between Pusat Pakaian Hari-HariSdn Bhd and MVP Basketball Club marks another milestone in promoting basketball in Malaysia and its development. These prove that there is still a corporate company in the country that are willingly and anxiously wants to be part of the development of basketball in Malaysia. 

Pusat Pakaian Hari-Hari is one of the leaders in the Malaysian clothing industries will be sponsoring the event as the Title Sponsor with a financial aid of RM60,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia Sixty Thousand) for two years. These include attires for officials and technical crews. Meanwhile, Molten, Gatorade, Supersports, PEAK, Bauerfeind, Capsters Hijab and MVP Basketball Academy will be the Co-Sponsor for the event. 

The Government of Selangor has been supporting NCBL since 2018 when the current Menteri Besar of Selangor, YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari was a member of the Selangor State Executive Council, holding the portfolio for Youth Development, Sports, Cultural, and Entrepreneurship Development back then. 

Director of Pusat Pakaian Hari-Hari Sdn Bhd Syed Mohammad Sani B Syed Kamarullbahrim is very happy with the participation in this basketball League continue to extend their support another two years to make 5 years in total Pusat Pakaian Harihari. He hope this league will also be a development platform for players to improve and excel. He hope more good NC players will be scouted to represent Malaysia. 

Mr. Khairul Anuar Jailani, the co-founder of NCBL, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Pusat Pakaian Hari-Hari Sdn Bhd for their sponsorship and continued support. He hopes with the sponsorship from Pusat Pakaian Hari-Hari and the support from everyone, the League will prove successful in producing basketball talents as well as enhancing basketball as a popular sport for all Malaysians regardless of their background and ethnicity. 

One hundred and thirty (130) teams expected to take part in NCBL 2021. It will be divided into 4 categories; (1) Men’s Division 1 to Division 4, (2) Women’s Division 1 and 2, (3) Men’s Veteran, and (4) Junior Boys Under 18 and Under 15. Grand Champion will be awarded with The Menteri Besar Selangor Champions Trophy and a cash prize of RM5000.00. For 1st Runner-up, & 2nd Runner up teamrespectively will receive the cash prize of RM 2,500, and RM 1,500. As winner for other divisions and categories will also receive cash prizes, trophies, medals and sponsor goodies

Sushi-making with World Sushi Cup Champions by Norwegian Seafood Council

World Sushi Cup champions Sky Tai and Leon Yap led media participants in a hands-on sushi-making class organised by the Norwegian Seafood Council at KDU University recently.
