GUARDIAN CELEBRATES 53RD ANNIVERSARY BY LAUNCHING NEW CONCEPT STORE TO TRANSFORM SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

Guardian Malaysia’s  flagship store at Suria KLCC has been given an invigorating makeover to reinforce its position as the number one pharmacy, health and beauty destination in the City.

Remodelled and launched to celebrate the 53rd Anniversary of Guardian in Malaysia, Soren Lauridsen, Chief Executive Officer of Guardian Health and Beauty, South East Asia, said:

“The Guardian Suria KLCC store is very special for many reasons as it has been Guardian Malaysia’s flagship store serving millions of shoppers in the world-class shopping mall since 1998.  It has grown into our number ONE store in sales and is the biggest trading store in our chain and sets the standards for Guardian stores throughout the country.”

He added:

“This new concept store reflects Guardian’s goal to continually evolve to exceed customer expectations, no matter how high they are. As the leader in pharmacy, health and beauty retailing, Guardian Malaysia has responded rapidly to these changes by providing every day ‘Best Value’ for our customers’ daily essentials and bringing in the latest Beauty Trends & Brands from around the world.

“Our ultimate objective is to create practices which are the finest in the retailing industry; connecting our customers to products and helping them choose the right products with the best value, whether they are pharmacy, health or beauty items.”

“Vibrant and inviting, our customers would be delighted to find that much of the store’s make-over is actually based on their feedback. Equally important, the product offerings have been carefully curated to meet our customers shopping needs,” Soren said.

Extensive efforts have gone into re-shaping the shopping experience so that Guardian KLCC Suria remains the top  shopping destination  for pharmacy, health and beauty products, no matter what the norms are.

Leading a tour of the store, Mr Lauridsen said:

“Starting with our signature orange logo, our store environment is a reflection of the energy which emanates from healthy beauty.  All the finishes and fixtures have been redesigned to improve visibility of products and to make shopping more comfortable, whether it is a Korean or Japanese beauty section.  There is something around every corner to delight customers.”

REVAMPED SURIA KLCC SIGNATURES FOOD COURT FULLY REOPENS WITH ATTRACTIVE PROMOTIONS

When is a food court more than just a mere food court? The answer: When it is designed and constructed according to the best practices that ensures hygiene and unbeatable customer experience, but also incorporate the new norms brought about by Covid-19. This is the philosophy of Suria KLCC’s Signatures Food Court, which is completely new, enlarged, and made safer, all at the same time.  The “original” food court dates to 1998, when the mall opened its doors for business. The last major renovation was in 2005 with extra seating added in 2015 bringing the capacity to 1200. The latest redevelopment, which incorporates the space formerly occupied by Parkson, the total number of seats were increased to over 1,500 but still leaves customers with more elbow room as it considers the need for adequate physical distancing.  More space for distancing is just part of the picture, as the overall dining experience has been upped several notches.
