KARA HOLDINGS SDN BHD ANNOUNCES KEDAI AYAMAS LICENSING PROGRAMME

KARA Holdings Sdn Bhd, the operator of Kedai Ayamas and wholly owned subsidiary of Johor Corporation (JCORP) announced the launch of its Kedai Ayamas Licensing Programme as a way forward to expand its business growth and to support the development of Malaysian entrepreneurs in the food and beverage industry via its well- known Kedai Ayamas outlet.
The launching of Kedai Ayamas Licensing Programme was celebrated at one of the licensee outlets located at Taman Tun Dr. Ismail. 

Kedai Ayamas is the first store in Malaysia to introduce the sales of HALAL fresh chicken and other chicken based products under a modern and convenience ambience.

As a well-known brand that has been around for 30 years, Kedai Ayamas provides both take-away and dine in concept for customers to enjoy their vast specialties which includes the famous Ayamas Roasters, Ayamas Frozen Products such as nuggets, sausages, chicken balls, and many more.

In tandem with its tag line “More than just Chicken” Kedai Ayamas also offers customers to purchase ready to eat food products at their outlets, such Nasi Briyani Bukhara Ayam, Nasi Pilaf Ayam Mentega, Nasi Kandar Ayam Masala, Nasi Bijan Ayam Bulgogi and Nasi Kari Hijau Ayam Thai. In addition, Kedai Ayamas also sells ready to cook products such as its wide range of pastes, spices and herbs, and other kitchen-shelf products from special sauces to confectionery and beverages.

The announcement was made at the new refurbished Kedai Ayamas Taman Tun Dr Ismail, one of the current nine licensee stores under Kedai Ayamas Licensing Programme. Other outlets are Kedai Ayamas TTDI Jaya, Kedai Ayamas Melawati, Kedai Ayamas Bukit Baru, Kedai Ayamas Medan Gopeng, Kedai Ayamas Kota Damansara, Kedai Ayamas Section 18 Shah Alam, Kedai Ayamas Bukit Jelutong and KIOSK Kedai Ayamas Beserah in Kuantan.

KARA is targeting to develop 20 new licensee outlets in 2019 and 100 licensee outlets by 2023. There are currently a total of 49 Kedai Ayamas Stores in Malaysia comprising of 40 stores owned by KARA and 9 stores by the licensee.

Sushi-making with World Sushi Cup Champions by Norwegian Seafood Council

World Sushi Cup champions Sky Tai and Leon Yap led media participants in a hands-on sushi-making class organised by the Norwegian Seafood Council at KDU University recently.
