Nexstgo has unveiled the all-new VAIO® SE14,
a mainstream-priced notebook that is set to enhance work and entertainment experiences with
its outstanding performance. In addition, Nexstgo has also teased the arrival
of two new ultra-premium notebooks, the VAIO® SX14 and VAIO® A12 2-in-1, which
was recently launched in Japan.

The VAIO® SE14 combines
work and entertainment functions with a comprehensive range of specifications aimed
at the mainstream price segment, making it suitable for a variety of tasks and
user groups.
Offered in attractive
colors of Red Copper and Dark Grey, the VAIO® SE14 is equipped with an 8th
generation Intel® Core™ (Whiskey Lake) processor and a 14-inch full HD IPS
screen with ultra-narrow screen bezel design, it weighs approximately 1.35Kg
and sports up to 13 hours of battery life, which accords to three essential
design principles of VAIO® - Lightweight, Robustness and Durability. The VAIO® SE14 also does not compromise
on connectivity, as it comes with two USB Type-CTM ports, two USB
3.0 ports, an HDMI port, 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0.
Music lovers and movie buffs will be
blown away by the VAIO® SE14’s 4-speaker design, as it offers an extremely
immersive sound experience with dual top-firing and dual bottom-firing
speakers. Furthermore, the VAIO® SE14’s microphone is also optimized for
Microsoft Cortana, the smart personal voice assistant built right into Windows
10.
The VAIO® SE14 also cares
about personal privacy and comes with a built-in fingerprint reader and TPM 2.0
chip to provide hardware-based security functions which prevent malicious access
to private data. For an easier and secure login method, the VAIO® SE14 comes
equipped with an optional IR Camera that supports Windows
Hello, which recognizes the user’s face and logs them on instantly.
VAIO®
SX14: feather-light premium laptop with a wealth of
connection possibilities
The ultra-premium VAIO® SX14 weighs approximately 1.05Kg
and features a lightweight yet rugged UD carbon case, together with a 14-inch
4K ultra HD display in ultra-slim bezel design. VAIO® SX14 also runs on the latest
8th generation Intel® Core™ (Whiskey Lake)
processor, which gives demanding users an extremely lightweight choice among
high-end professional notebooks.
In addition, the VAIO® SX14 is extremely versatile,
with a variety of connectivity features including a standard sized HDMI port,
VGA port, Gigabit LAN, USB Type-CTM, 3 USB Type-A, SD card reader,
security lock slot and 3.5mm headset/headphone jack, no dongles required.
The VAIO® SX14 also supports VAIO TruePerformance, a technology that helps
optimize and maximize CPU and overall performance of the laptop. VAIO® SX14 also comes with built-in fingerprint
reader and TPM 2.0 chip to provide hardware-based security functions.
New
two-in-one VAIO ®A12: True Laptop and True Tablet in one device
The VAIO® A12 two-in-one device is designed
to be a “True Laptop, True Tablet”. Its exclusive "Stabilizer Flap"
design improves stability of the device in use, which is a common problem among
other "two-in-one" devices in the market. The tablet part features a
12.5” multi-touch screen with Full HD resolution.
Even when attached to the keyboard base with built-in
battery, it remains incredibly lightweight at 1.2kg, while it further extends
the VAIO® A12’s battery life up to 15 hours, connectivity and features are not compromised,
it comes with HDMI, VGA, Gigabit LAN, USB Type-A, SD card reader, security lock
slot and 3.5mm headset/headphone jack.
Pricing and Availability
The VAIO®
SE14 will be available in Malaysia on April 15 with a suggested retail price
(SRP) from RM4,099 including SST.
The VAIO®
SX14 and VAIO® A12 will be made available in May 2019 and will have a suggested
retail price (SRP) from RM7,199 and RM8,699 respectively.

Lazada and Shopee.
