Serba Dinamik Holdings
Berhad (“Serba Dinamik Holdings” or “Company”), which is the main organiser of
the Beyond Paradigm Summit, held a joint press conference today with the summit’s
co-organiser and official partners speaking on the adaptation of Industrial
Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) in the country.
The joint press
conference was held for the first time by Serba Dinamik together with the
Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), co-organiser of the Beyond
Paradigm Summit, official partners namely, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation
(MDEC) and Microsoft Malaysia, as well as technology partner TM One.

Serba Dinamik CEO and
Group Managing Director Dato’ Dr Ir Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah (“Dato’ Karim”)
said the summit is to initiate ideation and conceptualization to drive radical
and incremental innovations in driving the Nations clarion call to provide
distinctive digital solutions.
“I believe the company
Serba Dinamik as a whole with the support of the partners in organizing this
summit will drive the nation to be in the forefront of digitalization in moving
forward towards IR 4.0 together with the industry players specifically from the
private sectors”, he said.
In support to this
Summit, MIDA as the co-organiser will continue to collaborate with key government
stakeholders in enabling domestic companies to embrace industry 4.0
technologies guided by the National Industry4WRD Policy.
The summit, which will be
held from 17 – 18 July at the Malaysian International Trade & Exhibition
Centre in Kuala Lumpur and from 20 – 21 July at the Pullman Kuching, showcases
the opportunities being offered by the technologies surrounding IR 4.0.
MDeC CEO, Surina Shukri
said that it is important to begin to transform the Nation to become an AI hub
and lay the foundational frameworks and policies related to the main pillars of
IR 4.0 by continuously engaging and encouraging the private sectors and related
agencies to play a significant role in this digital transformation.

industrial revolution. AI is one of the key driving factors in a future
workplace where technology influences crucial decisions. As we continue to
build out our AI ecosystem, it is important that we have multiple stakeholders

MDeC is currently working
on the National AI Framework which is expected to be announced later this year.
According to the Director
of Legal, Corporate & Government Affairs for Microsoft Malaysia & ASEAN,

Prime Minister Tun Dr.
Mahathir bin Mohammad will be officiating the Kuala Lumpur official launch of
the Beyond Paradigm Summit on 17 July while the Kuching launch will be
officiated by Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari
bin Tun Abang Openg on 20 July.
Beyond Paradigm Summit
will also feature Sophia, the social robot powered by artificial intelligence,
the core technology of IR 4.0, for the first time in Malaysia. Sophia shows how
state-of-the-art artificial intelligence can add value for businesses as it
binds together various separate processes through the Internet of Things (IoT).
The summit brings
together renowned speakers and specialists from around the world who are
experts in their fields of technology and showcases a number of exhibitors and
what they have to offer to companies keen on learning more and adopting IR 4.0
technologies such as IoT and artificial intelligence.
Serba Dinamik aims for
the Beyond Paradigm Summit to stimulate radical and incremental ideas as part
of the country’s strategy of moving up the value chain and the private sector’s
digitalisation drive.
